The 2023 – 2024 year has been an exciting year as it was the first opportunity for Beef Life to support our local FFA & 4H program participants.  This year we were excited to partner with a local senior student as she raised both a market hog and heifer.

The market hog was raised and used in a local community fundraiser for a family in need.

This year long journey raising a brahman heifer took her to a number of shows to include the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo where she placed 4^th in her class overall.

She said, “the support she received allowed her an opportunity she would not have otherwise had and that it changed the direction of her career pursuits”.  She is now a college freshman pursing a degree in Agriculture and Finance, continuing to raise cattle and at the age of 18 formed her own cattle company which she hopes will one day contribute to our beef supply.  Doing the Most Good !
